I bought my car on Dec 10, on Dec 19th I got an update to 6.2.0 but nothing since.

I was just interested in the new gauges, at this point I only have the Foxbody and not the SVT and the old school one.

my understanding is 6.3.2 came out back in August, and I did get one update since I bought it but nothing more.

One would assume you have the necessary info input to the software setup? My local dealer says improper set up is the most common mistake. By the way, dealers will upgrade the software for you, if you ask.

Last month I noticed my auto start/stop wasn't engaging when it normally would have. I threw my battery on a 2A charge, it went for like 12 hours. After that, OTA updates rolled in and the start/stop started working again.

So, I'd verify your battery is healthy if you want to eliminate reasons why the OTA updates may not be rolling in.

It just takes time, 2-3 months, but it will eventually come through. They release updates in batches, and it your car did not update in that batch, they will roll out later and you will get updates that time. Bought my car in April, waited till August-September to get my car to the latest version

The OTA process is unpredictable and unreliable at best. I have seen many cases where a vehicle goes longer than 2, 4, 6 months or more without receiving an OTA. It sucks, but that's often the way these things work.

By the way, dealers will upgrade the software for you, if you ask.
Most dealerships will NOT do this unless they are updating firmware related to a repair that either you are paying for or is covered under warranty. Even with that, most will ONLY update those modules related to the work they are getting paid for. It can sometimes take hours upon hours to do updates, and dealerships don't pay their techs without getting paid by someone.

Well, perhaps some of them like money too much. There is a Dealer Bulletin and a TSB on the screen issues. Sometimes dealers can charge back Ford, others not, but if they're customer oriented, they'll do it regardless.

Problems like this can be dealer killers. This statement, or words like them, ("Dealers must maintain good relations with its customers" and prohibited the "repeated failure to properly resolve customer complaints") have been used to take away a dealer's franchise. Rare perhaps, but it does happen.

If they want Ford to cover it under warranty, they HAVE to follow explicit instructions, they HAVE to be able to confirm the condition exists and/or replicate the issue, and they can't color outside of the lines. If they do, they aren't getting reimbursed under warranty.

but if they're customer oriented, they'll do it regardless.
I have found that, if you creatre and maintain a good working relationship with a dealership over a long period of time, they might be more willing to do it on their dime. But most dealers will NOT give away thousands of dollars worth of tech time, just because you bring your vehicle in and ask them to update all your modules with available updates.

It can take upwards of an entire day (or longer) to fully update your vehicle's modules. At ~$200 per hour, they aren't giving that time away.

My Stop/Start works intermittently.
The Owners Manual states if your Vehicle is over 5,000 Ft. in Elevation your Stop /Start may not work.
I live South of Denver.
According to my phone I’m at 5398 Ft. above Sea Level.
My Stop/Start may or may not work.
Most of the time it doesn’t work.
It’s OK with me.

I got my car in July '24 and got the latest update in September or October. It always seems like a lifetime when you are hoping the next update has a fix for some annoying glitch you hope will be fixed. Glenn

I’m not buying that, I have had zero updates since 9/14/2023 when I bought it.
You might want to have your Dealer check it out.
My last updated was about 4-weeks ago.
You may need to correct your Update settings?
I bought my car on Dec 10, on Dec 19th I got an update to 6.2.0 but nothing since.

I Like the Cobra Gauges in White and Black.
My last update was for the Brakes.
